This year certain changes in the procedure for submitting applications have been introduced and the whole procedure has been simplified. Applications for grants are submitted electronically without submitting documents, based on previously recorded data in the Farm Register and the Register of identification and registration of animals.
The official deadline for submission of applications for subsidies expires on June 1, but an extension of that deadline could happen. The cattle, sheep, goats and bees, before submitting the application, must be checked and if necessary, the status of the animals must be updated in the veterinary company with which they have concluded a contract. The interested farmers submit their applications to the Regional Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water where theh have a registered a farm.
