MCC promotes bilateral opportunities for development of winter tourism

According to the memorandum of cooperation signed today, Macedonian Chambers of Commerce (MCC) and the tourist organization “Zlatibor” from Serbia, the offers will be valid for two seasons, and summer and winter, and will be launched in March 2017.

The purpose of the memorandum is to increase cooperation between the two countries.

“MCC expanding bilateral cooperation at regional level. The signing of the Memorandum that Macedonian tourists will receive special prices to stay in the most visited winter resort in Serbia is the result of several months of engagement of the MCC within which we organized meetings with the ambassadors of Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Albania, “said Vice President MCC Dragan Mitkovski.

He added that the realization of the activities envisaged in the Memorandum expects to increase the volume of Serbian and Macedonian tourists on both sides.

“The protocol is just the beginning of our cooperation and to advance relations that are already good. Through his Macedonian tourists will present the discounts for visiting Zlatibor “, said the director of the Agency Vladimir Zivanovic.

Last year, he added, the number of Macedonian guests increased significantly which is an additional incentive for more efficient representation of this market.

Zlatibor annually receives around 3,000 Macedonian tourists. For the upcoming Christmas holidays are already contracted three buses from only one agency, but the hosts expect more.

This tourist center is among the most attractive in Serbia annually attracts up to 250,000 visitors.
