The Macedonian company “Alkaloid” opened the new “Centre for Quality Control” in Skopje. Over 5,000,000 euros are invested in the modern facility, with an area of 3,000 square meters. Control of raw materials will be conducted in the newly built premises, also, the immediate and outer packaging, phase production and manufacturing, microbiological control and stability of pharmaceutical products, validation activities and monitoring and preparation of analytical documents for the registration activities for pharmaceutical products. The Center is equipped with highly sophisticated equipment from world renowned manufacturers.
According to the General Director of “Alkaloid”, Mr. Zivko Mukaetov, the Center for Quality Control will employ more than 100 highly skilled employees, of which, it is envisaged 70% to be persons with higher education. The new investment reaffirms the strategic commitment of the company to produce quality, price affordable, safe and effective drugs manufactured in accordance with the strictest international standards.
