Arsovska: Trade agendas should be resolved through negotiations rather than blockades

Moscow, Russia - The World Chambers Federation (WCF), the only Chamber of Commerce where 20 representatives globally run over 12,000 chambers of commerce worldwide, is meeting this year in Moscow, Russia.

Our first position in the leadership of the World Chambers Federation WCF, among the 20 elite chambers of the strongest economies in the United States, China, Great Britain, Russia, Turkey, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Austria provides the opportunity for direct participation in world economic developments, positioning our country as the center of the region for new investments, as well as opportunities for reliable partnerships for domestic businessmen to increase exports.

President of the Macedonian Chambers of Commerce Danela Arsovska, last year appointed Macedonia's first representative in the leadership of the World Chambers Federation (WCF), stressed that the main focus of the annual meeting is trade barriers that are causing not only regional but global decline the economic results, the reduction of trade and the displacement of markets, effects that not every economy can sustain without long-term consequences. In this regard, the realization of trade agendas based on economic diplomacy plays a key role, which in the modern world is a way of communication to eliminate trade barriers.

"Economic diplomacy plays an increasingly important role in the modern world in removing trade barriers, in that the priority is to address international open economic issues and remove trade barriers to facilitate companies' entry into international markets. At a time when policy at the global level promises free trade and at the same time blockade action is taken, economic diplomacy is more important in removing trade barriers. At this important annual gathering we are creating a strategic plan for the future global economic activity, but there remains the challenge of positioning Macedonia with competitive products and services in foreign markets in times of continued volatility, "said Arsovska.

John Denton, Secretary General of the (ICC) International Chambers of Commerce, said in his address that there was an urgent need to enable businesses around the world in conditions of peace, prosperity and equal opportunities for all.

"Representing 45 million companies worldwide, we have issued a declaration setting out the vision for shaping the future of global business for the next century, conveying a message of working together for the private sector, governments and the public to create a more inclusive and responsible model," Denton said.

The annual meeting of the leadership of the World Chamber Federation WCF was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, as well as the Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation, Sergei Jeremy.

The World Chamber Federation as the only global forum that brings together chambers of commerce from all over the world, acts to strengthen links between chambers, but also represents the voice of the business community in the most relevant world organizations such as the United Nations, the G20, the World Trade Organization, the World Trade Organization. and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Paris-based World Chambers Federation (WCF) organizes a global event on a different continent each year, announcing its global agenda in 2018 in Dubai, and this year the rally is held in Russia.
